We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Full Stack Javascript Developer to join our incredible startup! You’ll be joining our growing team at an exciting time, with a chance to have a real impact being part of a fast-growth startup at the beginning of our journey.

For the right person, there is the opportunity of leading our development team at ProperPlan – we’re looking for someone special and driven to be a part of our founding team and to help bring all our ideas to life whilst setting us up for scale.

To date we’ve worked with an incredible agency and now we’re ready to build our inhouse development team – there will be a strong collaboration with our existing outsourced team.
At the moment we work remotely and collaboratively in Solihull, but may be moving into Birmingham city centre soon, so this is not a remote position – there is of course always flexibility. As a family business, family values run through everything we do and we like to do things different with our approach to balance.

Our platform is the vision of our founder and CEO Laura Phillips, whose work over the last decade as marketing coach and launch expert led her to see a huge gap left by project management platforms.

She wanted to create a platform for individuals and micro-teams that was overwhelm-free, distraction-free and full of smart features to help people take more action.
With 500 users on the platform, our mission is to make goal achievement attainable for all. We serve our community with deep care, and want to see them win – we’re a different kind of tech company.

You will be reporting directly to the CEO, working alongside our existing development team as we bring this in house. Our culture is about empowerment, simplicity, and getting sh*t done. 💪 What experience we’re looking for

We’ve built our platform on modern development.

Our stack is Vue3/Nuxtjs on the front end, and Nuxtjs/Node/express.js on the backend.
Most of the hard parts of dev ops are deferred to cloud providers – namely Google Cloud Run, we also use Firebase Auth and Store.
We use GitHub to store all of our codebases and follow git-flow, with GitHib Actions for deployment.
